To take advantage of the warranty extension, you simply need to purchase the Enphase IQ battery — either through Enphase themselves or through an authorized dealer such as Solar Optimum — and the warranty will be applied automatically.
What does the Enphase IQ 15-year warranty cover?
Enphase’s 15-year limited warranty extension applies to all IQ Battery models, no purchase necessary. Here are some highlights of Enphase’s 15-year warranty coverage:
- Offers coverage for 15 years, 6,000 cycles, or 2.8MWh AC energy throughput per kWh of (whichever comes first).
- Includes shipping of repaired or replaced equipment.
- Covers replacements at no cost to you, excluding cost of labor.
- The warranty is transferable but comes with an extra fee
