Andrew Goldstone
VP Commercial & Community Solutions
Andrew has over 20 years of business and project development experience in commercial, community, and utility-scale renewable energy. He has commercialized over 500 MW of utility-scale assets and overseen hundreds of distributed generation projects for commercial, industrial, retail, and multi-family properties.
Andrew has led Sales, Marketing, & Project Development teams for previous organizations in the energy industry, and now leads both Commercial Sales and Project Delivery at Solar Optimum.
Leading greenhouse gas reduction and energy initiatives for a global pharmaceutical company provided him with a birds-eye view of both the challenges and opportunities presented by various forms of energy projects and what it takes to get a successful project through to completion in the customer’s seat. He was also able to contract for some of the country’s earliest corporate solar Power Purchase Agreements.
Today Andrew enjoys educating and empowering customers by providing clear, actionable information, and advice to support optimal decision making. Andrew explains: “There are usually lots of options to configure projects and portfolios, from the size to the technology mix and financing type, ultimately, it’s about giving the customer what they are looking for – even if that means doing nothing if it isn’t the right time or fit.”
Andrew earned his undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of Michigan and his MBA at George Washington University as a Global Fellow. He resides in Los Angeles with his daughter and enjoys skiing, camping, fishing, and frequent trips to Santa Barbara.
