LOS ANGELES, CA, June 13, 2016— Solar Optimum, the Los Angeles based solar- and renewable-energy provider was among 250 participants in the 22nd Annual Los Angeles Commercial Realty Association (LACRA) Invitational Golf Tournament, held at Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms in Industry, CA.
The annual sporting event was held on Thursday, June 9, to raise money for the LACRA Fund. The LACRA Fund benefits the Family Service of Santa Monica, a non-profit agency and a division of Vista del Mar Child and Family Services, which supports children and adults who are struggling with emotional, social, and economic issues that prevent them from leading satisfying and productive lives.
Solar Optimum sponsored the Monte Carlo Hole on the Babe Course, where foursomes stopped by the hospitality tent to visit with Solar Optimum’s office/sales coordinator Carol Sique, “Green” Gene Okun of commercial sales, Bill McNeese from new business development, residential sales representative Marvin Kharrazi, and booth-greeter Monce Morales, who all welcomed golfers with giveaways (gift bags, filled with a “Solar Optimum-branded” Golf Towel and sunglasses, plus marketing collateral) — not to mention snapshots together as a remembrance of the day.
“I’ve heard it said that playing golf is like a frustrating magic trick,” commented Rainier de Ocampo, Director of Marketing for Solar Optimum. “In no other context can you turn a gorgeous ‘birdie’ into a hideous ‘triple-bogie.’ Today, however, frustrations of the game were inconsequential. We basked in the beautiful Southern California sunshine, connected with extraordinary businesspeople, and supported a tremendous cause.”
A perennial success and high-profile event, the LACRA invitational golf tournament continues to be one of the largest commercial real-estate industry affairs, offering an exceptional day of golf and valuable networking.
