- Residential clients with TOU rates can receive utility offers of about $190 per kWh storage capacity or up to $3000 or 50% of equivalent costs.
Non-residential customers under NV Energy can also qualify for storage incentives when installing solar-plus-storage systems or standalone storage systems. Like the residential clients, their incentive value depends on the size of the storage battery, ITC eligibility and whether the battery is connected to on-site renewable sources.
For clients who want to try TOU rates to enjoy more utility offers, NV Energy offers a risk-free trial. If they subscribe to a rate of at least 12 months, the utility promises the lowest rate, and if they realize you have spent more than what you used to spend on the standard rate, they will restore the standard one and refund you the difference.
